I never set out to start a wellness company. Working in the chiropractic and holistic health field, I saw people struggling with inflammation, pain, and imbalance every day. Natural remedies always made sense to me — but most of what I could find felt watered down or overpriced.

In 2018, when the Farm Bill passed, everything aligned. I began experimenting with CBD formulations, reaching out to friends and farmers I trusted in Wisconsin (where I’m originally from). That journey led to the birth of Herbal Root Collective — a clean, honest line of CBD and THC wellness formulas made with organic, cruelty-free, and gluten-free ingredients sourced from American farms.

We’ve called Texas home since 2016, and in early 2025, our story deepened. We started a small farm and found a new passion in caring for animals — something that has always come naturally to me. Over time, that passion grew into what now feels like a small sanctuary — a safe haven for animals we’ve found, rescued, or welcomed into our family when they needed a home of their own.

The land and the animals became part of our healing journey, teaching us patience, connection, and respect for the process of life itself.

Our cows are still babies, so for now we partner with our neighbors who raise theirs on chemical-free pastures — grass-fed and finished, ensuring the same level of integrity we hold for every product. From that collaboration came Wildly Bare, our farm-to-face tallow skincare line, handcrafted in small batches and infused with slow-rendered tallow and nutrient-rich botanicals.

Together, Herbal Root and Wildly Bare are two sides of the same mission:
To help people heal naturally — from the inside out and the outside in.
